Shadow of Mithila – E-Magazine
A serverless e-magazine platform designed to support thousands of writers with zero ongoing monthly hosting bills.
The Business Goal
The client was a newly launched regional literary circle with rapid growth but zero budget for monthly servers. The goal was to launch a multi-user e-magazine support system—supporting writers similarly to Chaaya Kumari's Author Platform—while keeping recurring server infrastructure costs at absolute zero.
Our Engineering Approach
We implemented a serverless, CDN-cached Next.js App Router application deployed on Vercel's Free Tier. We bypassed recurring compute overheads by caching the entire reader-facing library at Vercel's Edge CDN. Database transactions only trigger during writer submissions or admin updates, allowing the portal to run free forever.

- E-Magazine publications: Built the issue-based curation engine to release formatted SHABD digital magazines.
